STELLA

Stella are Keith Dickey's first style, named after his daughter. Stella holds feature deceptively simple contoured knobs and are some of the most fun holds available. This photo also includes some holds from his Moses Sandstone style.

Long time setter Keith Dickey brought years of climbing and setting, thoughtfulness, and a singular perspective into his shapes. Unfortunately in 2018 he passed away from cancer, but his shaper royalty will be paid to his wife and two children in perpetuity.

Keith was a big proponent of the dual-signifier concept, meaning holds showed multiple textures or styles so they could act as a junction between two series of holds on a route. His Stella Granite Junction line combines smooth Stella knobs with Anglin Granite texture, allowing you to seamlessly and aesthetically blend your smooth holds with your granite.
